API expresses our deepest concern at withdrawal of the license of VOD Khmer, a media organization from Cambodians consume independent news daily. People will lose a source of information from an independent media. Factual and independent news are very important for the democratic society and access to information; therefore, we urge the government to reconsider on the VOD license withdrawal and promote free press and access to information Cambodia for the democracy and sustainable development.
