On August 11, 2021, the Local Councillorsoandorsquo; Association in Pursat distributed 49 bicycles to children from low-income families in this provinceoandorsquo;s main urban centre. This contribution is a part of our EU-fundedproject called Strengthening the Institutional and Operational Capacity of the Provincial Associations of Local Councillorsoandordquo;, which is implemented by API together with our partners in Pursat, as well as Aide et Action (AEA). A local TV station broadcasted this report about the officialsoandorsquo; small-scale initiative our project made possible. The same day, the Kampong Thom Local Councillorsoandorsquo; Association came up with a similar idea and offered vegetable seeds and agricultural tools to 15 vulnerable families in the Tang Kok district.
