As part of our EU-funded initiativededicated to building capacity for district and commune authorities, on March 12, our project team travelled to Kampong Speu to meet the members of the Provincial Association of Local Councillors (PALC). After the introductory remarks, programme manager Barmey Phorp and our trainers gave the officials an overview of the goals we want to achieve and answered their questions. This one day meeting was our projects kick-off in this province, hence the main focus on planning the future activities necessary in order to fulfil the training needs of the beneficiaries.
